10/9/2015 – Cardinals’, rookie, first baseman, Stephen Piscotty hit this Pedro Strop pitch into a conniption for a two-run homer to put the finishing touches on the first game of the Cards/Cubs series. The Cubs threatened with two out in the ninth against Trevor Rosenthal but couldn’t push a run across,
10/8/2015 – Albeit in a losing effort, but this is what you call hitting the ball into a conniption, especially the second one.
10/7/2015 – Kyle Schwarber hits a two-run conniption shot in the National League Wild Card Game
9/27/2015 – This is what you call hitting a ball into a conniption. And it was a game winning homer in the bottom of the ninth.
9/14/2015 – No doubt, this ball was hit into a conniption.
9/14/2015 – This normally wouldn’t qualify as hitting ball into a conniption but I want to say a few words about Prince Fielder. I was mad at him for the way he played and acted at the end of the 2013 season and didn’t want him back in a Tigers uniform. However, being two years removed from the ALCS loss to Boston, and my high blood, down somewhat, I’ve forgiven him. He went through a horrible ordeal in the Tigers clubhouse in 2013. I hope everything has turned around for him and his family. It looks like he’s got his hitting shoes on again.
MLB dot com calls this a mammoth homer. I call this hitting the ball into a conniption.
Sorry Matt Boyd but Josh Donaldson hit this pitch into a conniption.
