Forgive me if I’m not impressed by the 13 run, 20 hit, offensive output. All it does is skew the average numbers for the casual observer. I’ll take the W and the series win but watch them go another six games scoring six runs or less.

Yup, this is how they roll… This homestand, 6 2 1 2 2 13. Total 26, average 4.3 runs. Not impressed.
Well I was impressed by the infield defense (including the guy on 3rd) and the way Sanchez pitched. As much as I hated them sitting in the cold last night with no offense I can remember Incaviglia and and offense that got beat 6 to 5 or 9 to 8 pick a number. On any given day yea they have bats that can and will show up. Pitching and defense. I will take the W and wait to see how we manage our pitching and how it preforms in a national league park. Still think this is the team of IF…. or maybe when is a better question?
They are officially 3-1 without VMart in the lineup… He won’t play this weekend… Just saying..
