I feel vindicated for having suggested the Tigers make him an offer when he was a FA, before signing with the Mets. Though it was probably time for him to move on from Detroit after 2009, he has continued to hit excel in all phases of the game. Good for him! One of the few good guys in pro sports! I’m hoping this year he finally gets his WS ring..
