Sark is hoping this video can get the Tigers fired up for tomorrow’s game against the Red Sox.

The dance may seem familiar.  It appears the Tigers have adopted it.

I first saw the University of Hawai’i do this during pregame warm ups.

After a little research, I leaned that the Haka “is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance or challenge from the Maori people of New Zealand.”

The haka was made famous globally by the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team.

Here’s a video of the All Blacks performing the Haka at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
