The offense is so miserable that it I can’t write about Ricky’s start.
This team doesn’t deserve to make the playoffs. I’m still sticking to the post I made right before the Price acquisition, this team needs to be blown up, not just tweaked. We’ve had to sit through the same shit for the last 3-4 years. The offense scores 10 runs one game than hibernates for two weeks.
BA should have left Miggy on the bench. Miggy contributed a very disappointing at-bat. The same is true with Victor when he bounced into an inning ending double play

I totally agree with you Chris.. as much as I like having the premier hitter on our team, I think it may be time to trade Miggy… I wouldn’t sign VMart or Hunter either.. They’ve had good regular seasons as a group, but they go through too many serious ups and downs and this makes them a frustrating bunch to watch, and root for… Other than Ricky P nobody showed up to play baseball yesterday.. The rest just went through the motions… I again came away impressed by Rick’s performance, even when he didn’t have his best stuff.. Not many hard hit balls off him.. But then again his offense DID NOT hit a single ball hard all day.
