10/14/2015 – This is a mammoth conniption shot. Another Miggy-esque homer and it came at a most important time. I know I’m a little late with this post but I was out of town working. Better late than never.
I’m not sure about the bat flip.
10/13/2015 – Although after the Utley incident, I hate the Dodgers, this was a great play by Justin Turner against his former team, the New York Mets.
10/13/2015 – This is a Miggy-esque conniption shot that helped the Cubs make history. For the first time, the Chicago Cubs won a playoff series at home.
and horrible and any other negative adjective you can think of is the only way to describe the Dodgers’ win over the Mets tonight. I don’t care what the television commentators say, Chase Utley’s take out of Rueben Tejada was a nasty play by a nasty player.
As far as I’m concerned the Dodgers are a team of jackasses managed by jackass.
Rueben Tejada has a broken leg. His season is over. Who do the Mets see about that?
Calling Utley’s undercut a “hard slide” is an insult to the game of baseball. If that slide had won the Tigers the World Series it would have ruined if for me. I don’t believe in winning at any cost or the ends justifying the means. The next time that turd Utley steps to plate in this series the Mets pitcher, whoever it is, should give him some high heat and then drill him. I can’t believe the umpires let that puke and the Dodgers get away with that.
Speaking of the umpires, the balls and strikes calling, in the entire postseason has been an abomination. This is the best that MLB can come up with? Geez!!
10/9/2015 – Cardinals’, rookie, first baseman, Stephen Piscotty hit this Pedro Strop pitch into a conniption for a two-run homer to put the finishing touches on the first game of the Cards/Cubs series. The Cubs threatened with two out in the ninth against Trevor Rosenthal but couldn’t push a run across,

I love Vin Scully. I usually tune in after Tigers games just to hear his voice. Flashin’ Leather wishes him God Speed!
This report is from Variety Reporter Dave McNary…..
Vin Scully will not call any Dodgers postseason Major League Baseball games after undergoing an unspecified medical procedure.
The Los Angeles Dodgers made the announcement Thursday, a day before the opening game of the National League Division Series against the New York Mets.
Scully, 87, missed calling the final three regular-season games on Oct. 2-4. The Dodgers said he was resting comfortably, but released no further information.
Scully announced in late August that he had decided to return for a 67th season next year and has indicated that it will probably be his last. He has reduced his travel schedule in recent years and has been working on one-year contracts since 2009.
Scully usually calls all nine innings of the team’s home games and road games in California and Arizona for the Dodgers’ telecasts on SportsNet L.A. The first three innings of…
